Panorama Trail (June) : The panorama trail, by most accounts, is one of the premier hiking trails in the world. Starting at about 8200 feet on Glacier Point in Yosemite, it drops several thousand feet in elevation before reaching Yosemite Valley some 8 or so miles later. On June 2, 2005 I started out on that trail, just wanting to hike to the top of Illillouette Fal... but Mother Nature had other ideas!

Bridle Veil View Area (June) : Photos taken in the valley from the road, the water in the foreground is the swollen Merced River. All photos except the last 3 are of Bridelveil Falls. The last 3 are of a new fall that doesn't excist in "normal" runn-off years. The large rock is monolith El Capitan.

Glacier Point, Washburn Point (June) : Washburn Point  is located very near Glacier Point. One waterfall you can't see from Glacier but can see from Washburn is Illillouette Fall. (Top third or so of it, last 2 photos). The first photos show Vernal and Nevada Fall, and the white waters of the Merced River.
